These are for made by Youngman Loft Ladder Deluxe Upper Hinge Bracket 009284, these Deluxe Upper Hinge Bracket fix the unit, to the door and edge of the hatch area. 4 of these are located on the underside of unit
To remove the old Loft Ladders part, prise off the silver dust caps tap the small fixing bar to release the Loft Ladders unit, being careful not to damage the plastic runner it is connected to. There is a way of mounting the unit into the area above, without it being fixed to the door and also into a vertical application hatch using the same type of method.
