Making A Purchase

Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our Catalogue, and click on any items that you wish to buy and put them into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on "Order" and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to satisfy the order. Please remember to have your personal and credit or debit card details to hand. Should you have a problem, process the order using the SEND CHEQUE option and we will contact you to get your credit/debit card details.

You may purchase Ladders, Podium, Towers, Hatch & Panels online with your credit debit card or call 07961505322 to purchase direct by telephone.  When ordering by telepohne, you are required to read our full terms & conditions prior to making that order, it will be taken that by ordering that you have read them.

We reserve the right to change our prices on occasions. All price changes will be adjusted on the website.  We are currently not VAT registered. They include FREE standard delivery (with one or two exceptions - see delivery below).

"If, by mistake, we have under priced an item, we will not be liable to supply that item to you at the stated price, provided that we notify you before we despatch the item to you. In those circumstances, we will notify the correct price to you so you can decide whether or not you wish to order the item at that price."

Payment will be actioned before goods are dispatched (fraud checks)  Please call for any next day delivery requests.


Shipping And Handling

You will be required to sign for the product on arrival.  But please be aware of the procedures below:


When your order arrives, please inspect it and ensure that it is in good condition and not damaged in any way. If you receive a product in an obviously  unsatisfactory condition (i.e damaged) Do not accept the delivery , Refuse the delivery, DO NOT SIGN FOR IT, and inform us on 07961505322 as quickly as possible, so we can send a replacement.

If you are unable to fully inspect a package in the presence of the carrier, TREAT IT AS THOUGH IT MIGHT BE DAMAGED sign for it as "DAMAGED" and DELETE the RECIEVED IN GOOD CONDITION box and put "DAMAGED". This will alert the carrier that a claim may be forthcoming. Should you find later that the product is damaged, we can replace it easily.  If upon inspection there is no damage, then there is no problem and no claim will be made.

Do not ask or give permission for the courier to leave the consignment unattended or with a neighbour, if you do this and the consignment is later found to be damaged, you will not have a claim for the damage.  In every case where the item is bespoke made, mainly access products and some timber units, You must fully inspect the product for damages before signature, nothing else will be considered as acceptable. 

Do not write words such as UN-INSPECTED/ UN-CHECKED.

Delivery Schedule

Our intentions are to always to get the product to you FREE within 7 working days (UK Mainland Only) except, Northern Ireland, The Highlands and Islands, some areas Scotland, we do operate a next day delivery service, this would normally cost an additional £24.00 inclusive (some items may cost more due to weight, length over 3m or certain specialist items which come direct from another source, spares etc we will advise you). Orders would have to be placed no later than 11am to allow the order to be processed and dispatched. Orders are delivered by carrier during normal working hours 8:30am - 5:00pm ( Mon to Fri.)  there are no deliveries on weekends. Please call for next day delivery requirements.

Items which are out of stock, will be notified to you and instructions taken as to how you wish to proceed.

We only ship and deliver to mainland UK and its islands. We do NOT ship overseas at this time.

The delivery company will only deliver to the premises. The courier will not carry any package parcel into your premises, that is your responsibility to do so.

Back Orders

If your item is not in stock, we will back order for you. You will always be emailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.

Tax Charges

We are currently not VAT Registered.

Credit Card Security

All debit and credit card numbers are encrypted in the software when the order is placed.

It is our intention to make your purchase as safe and secure as possible. Always ensure that the padlock sign is visible on the site address bar and https:// is shoping during the purchase phase.

We may contact you by phone to verify personal details, or contact  your card issue company to verify your details, for your security and as a measure against fraud.


You have 7 working days to cancel your order, this starts from the day of taking delivery of the product. You may return the product without any reasons given; however the goods will be returned under your arrangements  at your own expense. Please contact us by email, or letter, advising us of any return of goods, we will provide you with a returns order number and an address, to where the goods should be despatched to.  DO NOT RETURN THEM DIRECT TO LOFT AND LADDERS.

A refund of the original cost will be given only once the product has been received in sound condition for resale. If the product has been used, misused or in an unfit condition for re-sale no refund will be given. Please be advised that risk of damage, for returned items are always with you. Where products are made bespoke to order, the right to cancel will not apply. Complaints are dealt with quickly and fairly, we keep you informed at all times. This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.

Where a manufacturers guarantee is shown, for welds and defects, the manufacturer who will inspect and decide as to defect or abuse, if the latter exists you will be charged for the repair and any transport charges related. The guarantee applies to the product remaining in the possession of the original purchaser, transfer is not permitted. If the manufacturers product is at fault, they will replace or repair the faulty part.

We will not and do not provide refunds of lost earnings, or related costs where a product has arrived late by courier or damaged.  We will replace the item, we will refund where necessary for returned items, replace any lost or damaged items,  or repair items where necessary.

Any information given to and held by uswill not be rented or sold to any third party. We will only use this information lawfully as detailed in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998. Information held is kept secure at all times. You may request information held by us at any time by emailing us; a security check will be made prior to disclosure as additional protection. Any material produced with data on,  is shredded or burnt by secure means, on-site.

Remittance Terms

Purchase orders accepted by arrangement. Our terms and conditions apply in all cases. All monies are to be paid prior to delivery of goods. You have 7 days from receipt of goods in which to cancel and return the goods.
